Jamie Helbig Elected Vice President of Cincinnati State's 2013/2014 Student Government

Jamie Helbig of New Richmond, a Landscape/Horticulture student in the Business Technologies Division of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, has been elected as Vice President of Cincinnati State's 2013/2014 Student Government.

Student government officers are elected directly in balloting at the Clifton and Middletown campuses. The Student Senate also includes members representing each of Cincinnati State's four academic divisions, two at-large representatives, an ombudsman, and two ex-officio members.

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College (www.cincinnatistate.edu) was chartered in 1969, and today offers more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs in business technologies, health and public safety, engineering technologies, humanities and sciences and information technologies. Its main campus is in Clifton. Cincinnati State also operates branch campuses in Harrison, Ohio (the Cincinnati West Airport) and Middletown; the Workforce Development Center in Evendale; and maintains satellite operations at the Great Oaks Career Center, the Lower Price Hill Community School and other locations.
